Planning your Five Star Eventing Tours trip is simple and stress-free. We offer flexible payment schedules, secure payment options, clear cancellation guidelines, and important travel safety information to make your journey smooth from start to finish. Whether you're joining one of our small group experiences or exploring independently, we ensure you're fully prepared and supported every step of the way.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE
There's no need to pay for the entire trip all at once!
Below is a simple schedule of payments that are required prior to your Burghley Experience to keep your place ensured.
Keep in mind, these are minimum payments, so if you'd like to fast-track your way to "fully paid" you're completely welcome to. We also offer several payment options as well for your convenience (See below).
1. REGISTER by emailing or calling us.
2. Within 5 Days - $1000 USD deposit due.
3. 90 days prior to trip start (June 1, 2026) - Balance due*
*Automatically charged to your credit card on file on this date
Please Note: Payments received in non-USD currency will be converted to USD using current market rates available on date of receipt.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
1) CREDIT CARD
Easy! The remaining balance on your account will be charged to your credit card on file 90 days prior to your trip's start. You can also request to “Make a Payment” any time by emailing or calling.
We don't charge additional fees for credit card payments.
2) PAYPAL OR STRIPE
3) INTERAC E-TRANSFER PAYMENT (CANADA ONLY)

CANCELLATION POLICY
Five Star Eventing Tours reserves the right to cancel a trip based on situations out of our control which can include political instability, terrorism, natural disasters, travel restrictions, pandemics, etc. We will always give our travelers as much notice as possible if any situation arises that forces a trip cancellation*. If we must cancel a trip for reasons outside of our control, booked travelers will retain all paid funds, minus unrecoverable costs.
* It is recommended that guests have air travel insurance.
CANCELLING YOUR TRIP

Cancel at least 6 months (180+ days) prior to trip start - deposit is 100% refundable.

Cancel at least 4 months (120-179 days) prior to trip start - deposit is 50% refundable

Cancel at least 3 months (90-119 days) prior to trip start - deposit is not refundable.

Cancel less than 3 months (0-89 days) prior to trip start date - all payments are non-refundable.
TRAVEL MEDICAL INSURANCE
Basic travel medical insurance is mandatory for all travelers on any Five Star Eventing Tours trip, while a more comprehensive policy covering such things as baggage delay, flight cancellation, etc. is suggested, but optional. Check to see if you are covered under a plan from work or through a credit card. Proof of Basic Travel Insurance will be requested prior to travel.


HEALTH & SAFETY
Behind all the fun, we take our traveler’s health and safety very seriously. We're constantly monitoring local situations with the assistance of local partners and friends in addition to official government information sources. We also work with our local partners to ensure we've done what we can to provide you a safe and enjoyable experience, but it's also important to prepare yourself before you head out too. To get past all the dramatic headlines and rumors, we feel the best sources of information for travelers are provided by your own government's travel advice websites.

Here are some general tips that you should consider when traveling:

Don’t flash wealth – Be discreet with cash and valuables.

Leave unnecessary valuables behind – No need to bring your most prized possessions every time you leave the hotel room.

Keep emergency contacts handy – If you find yourself without your phone, make sure you know your way back to the hotel and how to contact someone.

Get comprehensive travel insurance – You never know when you may need a travel insurance policy with more beefed-up coverage.
GROUP SIZES
We definitely aren’t the “big 50-person tour bus” kind of company. We believe the best way to experience a new place is with a more intimate group rather than a parade of people. That’s why, unless otherwise stated on the trip’s info page, our groups range in size up to 20 members plus one trip leader. This gives everyone lots of opportunities to meet new people and make some new BFF’s. Wondering how many people are booked on your upcoming trip? Just ask!


ITINERARY CHANGES
Occasionally, situations arise that require a change of accommodation, itinerary, mode of transport, schedule, etc. We will always inform our travelers of these changes as soon as possible as they arise. We cannot be held responsible for major changes forced by circumstances beyond our control (natural disaster, political instability, extreme weather, terrorism, etc.).
YOUR CONDUCT
Any traveler who makes racist / abusive / offensive or any other form of discriminatory actions or physical assault against any group members, trip leaders or any third party will be removed from the tour and will not be entitled to a refund for any missed services or accommodation.
