Five Star Eventing Tours
I’ve had the good fortune of being able to travel to many of the world’s greatest horse trials, Olympics Games and World Championships. Most often it was in some kind of official capacity. But recently, I was able to attend the Defender Burghley Horse Trials strictly as a spectator and it brought back all the memories and magic I experienced the first time I went to an international competition as a starry-eyed and eventing obsessed 17 year old.
It was at Burghley, without all the pressures and pre-occupations that come with an official role, that I was able to re-connect with all that had me hooked on the sport of eventing - not least of which is the profound admiration and awe for what these amazing equine athletes are capable of and willing to do for us.
Five Star Eventing Tours was born out of the idea of making traveling to these events, often held in green fields in a foreign country, easy and accessible to all and, most importantly, a unique experience to make new friends and share memories.

Who is Greg Paull?
I've been an avid eventing enthusiast, since first being introduced to the sport as a young boy. While there are times when I question my own wisdom, I made the conscious decision to not become a professional in the sport and went on to have a career in the Corporate Communications and Events world, founding my own company in 2003. I have remained active as a competitor, coach, organizer and volunteer. *References are available upon request*
